The same symptom can have different causes. Our inspection starts by identifying whether the issue is shared across the home or confined to one television.
| What you notice | What we assess first | |---|---| | Pixelation across multiple TVs | Shared antenna hardware, main cable run, splitter or booster path | | “No signal” on every TV | Antenna, exterior connections, shared cabling and distribution components | | Missing channels | Television setup and retune status, followed by signal-path components | | One TV works while another has no signal | The affected room’s wall point, local cable branch, connection and television setup | | Reception drops out after rain, storms or wind | Roof-mounted hardware, external joins and exposed cable sections |
For example, if a Coomera living-room TV receives channels but a bedroom TV does not, the roof antenna is not automatically the source of the problem. The bedroom wall point, cable branch, local connection or television setup may need attention.
A television retune can restore channel setup where settings are the issue, but it cannot repair a damaged cable, failed splitter, faulty booster or exterior hardware concern. See our help with TV reception issues for more reception guidance.
